Anatase Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) A1 is traditionally known for its strong photocatalytic activity under ultraviolet (UV) light. However, enhancing its responsiveness to visible light has been a key focus of recent research, aiming to expand its applications and efficiency in real-world conditions.

Visible light constitutes a significant portion of the solar spectrum, and making anatase TiO2 A1 responsive to this range can significantly increase its photocatalytic efficiency. Researchers have been exploring various strategies to shift the absorption spectrum of anatase TiO2 A1 from UV to visible light.
